Daegu is chock-full of cute cafes that all have their own unique vibes and charm, and Tree Farm is no exception! I came across this hidden gem after a autumn hike up Palgongsan. We were heading to my favourite K-BBQ joint in the area (post coming soon!) and happened to walk past a sign for Tree Farm. We were starving after our hike and didn’t want to stop, but I was intrigued by the name, so while waiting for a seat I looked up the cafe on Naver. The pics looked suuuuuuuuuuuuuper cute so we decided we had to go for a post meal coffee. Read on to see more about this unique cafe and why you should make the trip out!

The entrance to Tree Farm is a huge arch with the name emblazoned across the top. This seems to be the car park entrance, but we came through some windy back route from the main road that took us past some buildings and up some wooden stairs. We thought we were lost but the cafe was very well sign posted and easy to find from the main street, just a bit further than you expect!

The building itself is wooden and blends well with the trees that surround it, a very nature aesthetic hence the name! After entering we walked up the stairs to the main counter. This room had a super cute tiled floor and was decorated with all kind of coffee equipment. Great spot for pics.

We just ordered coffee as we’d stuffed ourselves with BBQ and didn’t think we could manage cake too, but the baked goods looked delicious and I hope I can go back some time to try. The drinks menu had a variety of coffees, juices, ades, and teas. While at the slightly pricier end at 5,000 for an Americano it also wasn’t break the bank expensive. Plus the coffee was very yummy and just what I needed after a big meal.

We also spent some time exploring the areas, as they had more upstairs seating inside the main building. Ideally though, you might want to visit Tree Farm in the spring or early autumn when the weather is nicest as they had loads of cute outdoor seating areas. They also have an old school bus around the back of the building that has been converted into seating! It looked super cute but when I went it was packed full of people, so we just sat at the bar in the main counter area.

Also, when we left out the main entrance we saw a cage with these cute little bunnies! Not sure if they are part of the cafe but def cute to watch for a bit!

The only issue I have with this cafe is that without a car it is a little out of the way. However, if you live nearby or happen to be in the neighbourhood anyway I highly recommend dropping by this cute little spot! Also, if you do take a bus there, when you leave take a right on the main road and walk down to the next junction. Take a left there and walk slightly up the hill to the bus stop. This is the best spot to get a bus back to Ayanggyo as far as I know! I hope you go and have a great time there~
