Hi everyone! Finally back today with a cute little spot a short walk from Namsan Station on the Yellow Line, not far from downtown. And when I say little spot, I mean it haha. Orang Bali is a tiny hole in the wall restaurant serving Asian cuisine. However, while the restaurant itself might not be big it more than makes up for it with the huge amount of flavour in their dishes! Unfortunately I don’t have loads of pictures, but I’m hoping the yummy food snaps will entice you down anyway. You won’t regret it!

As you can see from the front view, there are not many tables inside (maybe 4 tables for 2). We went as a group of 4 and all the other tables were quickly taken up too. I’m not a big fan of taking pics of random strangers, hence the lack of photos. However! With how many people we saw coming in and out as well as the amount of take away orders being picked up you can guess how yummy the food must be!

The menu has several East Asian options, such as nasi goreng, mie goraeng, chicken laksa, and some other rice or noodles dishes, a few sides, and a large drinks menu with smoothies, beers, and wines. My friends got the nasi goreng and the mi goreng, and I got a chicken laksa and beer.

It was actually my friends who introduced me to the place and they very highly rated both the nasi goreng and the mie goreng. I really wanted to try the laksa, and was glad I did. The flavour was rich and it was very filling. It’s a great little spot for some yummy South East Asian food, and if you need to travel to get there you’re spoiled for choice for places for either a second round coffee or a more boozey round (check the Namsan tag on the blog for ideas!).
