I think this third post of yummy hanshik might be the final one in my mini Korean food series (for now) and so I’ve saved one of my favourites for last! But don’t worry, I have loads more yummy places to share this week including brunch spots, world foods, and loads of Insta worthy cafes so please keep checking back!

So I was actually most excited to share this place, because it is probably my favourite spot for a good Korean lunch. I’ve been several times and never been disappointed with the food quality or quantity, plus the price is reasonable so it’s high up on my list! It’s tucked away on a little back street not far from Banwoldang Exit 13, and if you’re ever craving some K-food with loads of banchan (sides) then I highly recommend you check this place out!

You can spot Eomma Babsang from the side street as the building is bright yellow with a blue door. It’s often pretty busy at lunch time, but they have two floors and several tables on each. Unfortunately every time I’ve been it’s been too busy to get pics of the inside without taking pics of loads of other customers (which I haaaate doing because it feels rude haha). However it’s pretty cute and cosy, and how busy it is attests to the fact that this place is yummmmmy.

As you can maybe see from these couple of shots it’s pretty cute inside! The menu is very simple, as you just get the lunch set at 9,000 per person. This includes soup, rice, and loooooads of side dishes. You can then add extra portions if you want them, such as bulgogi (3,000), mackeral (3,000), and extra soup (1,000). They also serve soft drinks, beer, and soju, if you’re feeling that party lunch haha.

As you can see you get plenty of bang for your buck here! We left super full and satisfied after pigging out on all the delicious sides. An added bonus here is also that you get to fry your own eggs as needed. They have a station with gas ranges and pans where you can make your own eggs as you like them. It’s a nice little bonus to go with the meal! So next time you’re craving some Korean food give this place a try!
