Sean’s Sushi (션의스시) – Seongdang-dong and Naedang-dong

Sean’s Sushi first opened in 2016 around the same time that I arrived in Korea. The original store was a short walk from my house and I have been a constant customer since then! Sean’s is by far my favourite sushi in Daegu and in my opinion cannot be beat for taste and quality. Sean now has two locations in Daegu and having visited both can vouch that they are both equally delicious! Also the staff at both locations are very friendly and accomodating and speak a little English, so whichever you visit I’m sure you’ll be impressed. The menu is the same at both locations.

What I love about Sean’s Sushi is how fresh and tasty the fish is. Sean picks all the fish himself so makes sure only the finest quality ingredients are used. I have never once been disappointed eating here! The menu offers a variety of rolls, boats, sashimi, and more. The prices are pretty decent for what you get too.

I’ve been here so many times I can’t even remember all the food I’ve tried but I’ve included some photos before for you to enjoy 🙂 Whatever you order includes salad and soup starter and a mini ice cream dessert as free. As for sushi, my all time favourite is the volcano roll (16,000) which comes with avocado and this delicious topping. I also highly recommend the boat (38,000) if you’re sharing with a couple of people. The slamon mania (16,000) is also a great mini plate of various salmon sushis and suuuuuuuuuper yummy. Wash it all down with some soju for a fun night out! Let me know if you’ve visited and what you think!
