Opening times!

Even after living in Korea for almost 6 years, I had still never been for a steak here. I’ve always wanted to try a fancy restuarant but never really had the occassion to go to one. Recently a new friend invited me out to try la Primavera, and it was a great chance for me to finally eat a steak in Korea! I was super excited about trying out this fancy restaurant and I’m glad I did. It was oooooooo good.

La Primavera is located near Apsan on a side street not far from Homeplus. They do have parking but only two spaces, otherwise you need to take a bus but expect a quite steep walk to the restaurant. However once you get there the interior is high class and the perfect matching vibe for the fancy food.

We ordered a steak (46,000) and a lobster plate (29,000). We also got a glass of wine each at 6,000 a glass. While we waited for the food the staff brought some bread and dipping oil as a free appetizer. The restaurant decor felt light and airy and perfect for some wine and good food.

The lobster plate

My friend had the lobster, I had a small bite and it was very yummy! It was my first time eating lobster so have no basis of comparison but I thought it was good. The steak was served beautifully, on a bed of potatoes and vegatables and surrounded by flowers. I ordered mine medium rare and it was perfect. So yummy and juicy! After we finished eating they brought out a mini Crème Brûlée each also as service.

While La Primervera is one of the more expensive restaurants I’ve visited, the taste was divine and definitely worth it for a special occassion. If you’re looking for a spot to celebrate something special I would highly recommend a visit here.

Dessert!
