Minsk Cafe (민스크 카페) – Apsan/Nam-gu

Welcome indeed!

Address: 대구 남구 현충로6길 9-2

If you’ve visited Apsan Cafe Street you’ll already know that you are absolutely spoiled for choice in fancy cafes in this neighbourhood. There’s an abundance of Insta worthy places literally within a stone’s throw of each other. Afetr my little trip up Apsan I was heading back towards the subway station and happened to pass by Minsk. The pretty outdoor garden and bright lights were so welcoming after my walk I just had to stop by for some cake and a drink. The exterior design does a great job of catching your eye even in this neighbourhood full of pretty coffee shops!

I got there quite late, at about 8.20 and they close at 9. They told me the coffee machines had already been closed off but I could order anything else off the menu. That was fine by me as I didn’t want coffee that late, and the fact they closed soon wasn’t an issue. I just wanted to stop for a quick rest and to read a chapter or two of my book 🙂 I ordered a slice of cake (Harrabong Earlgrey Cake, 6,000) and a real grapefruit ade (6,800). A bit pricey but you pay for the neighbourhood and atmosphere.

A choice selection of tasty cakes!

I found a cute corner with loads of leafy plants, away from other customers too. Perfect spot for a few chapters of The Hobbit hehe 🙂 It was also a great place for fun Insta shots of my cake and drink, perfect! The cake was pretty yummy, and the ade was your standard ade haha. Well, actually I have had bad ades here and this one was fine in comparison. It was super nice and relaxing just sitting and reading my book for a bit so the cost wasn’t too big of an issue. Now the weather is a little cooler I wanna go back and enjoy the outdoor seating before it gets too cold! What’s your favourite cafe on Apsan Cafe Street? Let me know here, on Facebook, or Insta!
