If you’re looking for something fresh and fruity as a healthy snack then Ruits Ruits is the perfect spot to head to! A short walk from Jukjeon Station (죽전역), Ruits Ruits can be found nestled in a block of cafes and resturants. In fact there’s so much to explore in this area I know I’ll be heading back soon to check out more of what’s on offer! But for now let’s talk a bit about this trendy little fruit bar.
Ruits Ruits specializes in fruit. They have a large fridge offering loads of different fresh fruits, as well as little snack packs and pots of cut fruit ready to eat. These are perfect for work as I can pop one in the fridge and eat at my leisure! If you live in Korea you’ll already know that fruit is pretty pricey, but I thought that the prices here weren’t too bad for nice pots of ready to eat fresh fruit.
The staff here were also SUPER nice and gave us some samples to try while we were browsing. We had a little chat with the owner too (and she commented on my Insta account pics which I thought was cute ^^).
After a lot of deliberation I chose two little fruit pots to try. One was a mixed pack (3,500), me and my friend were going to her house for a wine party so we thought it’d be a nice dessert. I also got a pot of chopped pineapple (5,550) to take to the office. Both were super yummy and fresh! There was enough pineapple for me to eat over the next two days, though I’d be careful of keeping it longer than that as you don’t want it to go bad!
They also have a selection of shakes, juices, ice creams and more! Next time I go back I will definitely be trying some of these! If you’re ever in the area then I think this is a great spot for a nice healthy snack or dessert. There’s loads of good looking restaurants nearby too so worth a trip out if you don’t live close by ^^
