If you want one of the hottest spots for cafe photos in downtown, this is the place you are looking for! Rendejavous is a cafe chain with locations all over the country, and their concept seems to always be aesthetic and photo zones. The Daegu branch does not disappoint in either of these aspects!
The cafe is spread out over several floors, and each one has loads of cute seating areas and spots for pictures. You can place your order on the first floor, and they have a range of drinks and cakes too! After that you can explore the different floors and find the perfect spot to sit. The basement has seating too with a screen projector and a cute stool with a mirror for fun photos. It’s pretty dark in the basement floor so nice and chill~
The second floor has kind of wood chip flooring?? Anyway it looks cool haha. There’s also loads of plants, and looks a little like an indoor garden. Here there was loads more seating and it was a lot brighter than the basement, much better if you want to take a book and read or something. We sat here and enjoyed our drinks and lemon pound cake and took a few pictures.
The highlight of this cafe is on the upper floors though. You can follow the signs for ‘photozone’ to find the upper floors where there are some great outddor spots for pictures. There’s a little terrace with fairy light and a swing! I had fun playing on it haha, big kid at heart. Keep going up though to find the best photo zone on the roof. Here there is a great view of the ferris wheel on Sparkland, and after dark you can get some beautiful city night shots. This cafe is worth a visit just for this view alone!
