Before I start this post I’m sad to say I don’t have many pictures to share of Salamari by Mushi Mushi. However, I urge you to go try this place as the salad poke bowls were DIVINE. I’d seen pictures online and been minding whether to go for a while. If you’ve lived in Korea for a while you probably know that salads here can be super hit or miss. BUT!!! Do not doubt the salads here. They were blooming DELICIOUS!

One of the reasons I didn’t get a lot of snaps of the resturant was when we went it was sooooo busy. The restaurant inside is quite small, so I didn’t want to be that obnoxious person sticking my camera in people’s faces haha. Next time I go if it’s quiet I’ll update with more pics, promise ❤ We had to wait for a seat but it wasn’t too long, 30 mins max. There are seats outside for people waiting and they’ll give you a menu so you can choose what you want and be ready to order. We went on a Sunday lunch time, but it might be quieter on weekdays.

Once we got sat down the lovely lady took our orders and spoke English too, always a bonus if you don’t speak Korean well. The menu also has item names in English with clear pictures of each item. While we didn’t order it, they also have vegan menu items inlcuding a tofu poke bowl for 9,000 so great spot for vegetarians and vegans too! They also have a range of sushi and side menu items, follow the naver link at the bottom for a full menu!
We ordered three poke bowls, two salmon (12,00 each) and one shrimp (11,000) plus a side of cream cheese and sweet potato balls (6,000 for six). Everything was honestly so delicious. The salad was fresh and light, the avocado was ripe, and the salmon was good quality. I cleared my bowl in record time! This place is definitely on the top of my ‘must visit again’ list. When you mostly live off delivery chicken a decent salad does wonders for your body from time to time, trust me on this one 😂😂😂
