I went back to Seongdangmot Ville for a brunch date this past week and wanted to share photos of the food because it was DELICIOUS. Definitely worth going for a brunch. We shared the ricotta cheese salad and the club sandwich. The ricotta was super tasty and the salad had a really nice dressing, and the club sandwich was superb and great value for money compared to similar stores (9k with fries!).
It’s easy to miss this beautiful cafe as the entrance is pretty unassuming. In fact I walked past it every day on my way to work and only found out the cafe was there from a random Instagram post! They have a sign outside and you have to walk up a few steps set back from the street to the cafe entrance, at night it’s lit up by fairy lights so feels like you’re walking into a magical cafe garden!
The cafe is set out over several floors with both inside and outside seating. At the entrance you can place your order and then find a seat while you wait. The second floor has 3 different rooms with loads of plants and cosy wicker seating. There is also an outside area with seats on the patio. Go up to the third floor and there is more seating inside a huge conservatory style room with big windows and even more photo ops. Do it for the Gram.
The third floor has a balcony with nice views of the lake, and stairs up to the rooftop where there is again, more seating (!) as well as great views of the neighbourghood. It can get pretty busy but there are soooo many different seating areas I’ve never been on a day when I haven’t been able to find a spot.
The cafe serves a variety of drinks including bottled beers (woop!) as well as a selection of cakes and sandwiches. While I personally haven’t tried the sandwiches heard a good review from a friend so trust they’re alright. My go to cake is always cheesecake, and the one here isn’t bad! Overall if you’re looking for a spot to get your Insta on or take a date to a fancy cafe, I think this place is perfect. Plus you can finish it off with a walk around the lake across the street 🙂 Lovely afternoon out!
