So ask on any of the foreigner groups on Facebook where the best burger is in Daegu and I guarantee you’ll have a heated debate about where to go. I’m here to basically say if anyone says anything other than John’s Burger they’re wrong. John’s Burger is best burger, no debate needed.
The patties are so well seasoned, the toppings always fresh and delicious, and the bread is perfect. You don’t need anything else! I’ve been to John’s Burger many many times and introduced it so many many people and it’s always got rave reviews, if you haven’t tried it yet what are you doing? GO GO GO!
They offer a selection of different burgers, my personal favourite is the avocado burger and so far I haven’t been disappointed by the avocado quality like I have at some other places (trying to chew through rubbery unripe avocado is never good in my books, bleh). BF usually gets the double double and loves it. They also have some other sides, I’ve tried all the fries and the wings and rate both. Though my favourite fry toppings has to be bacon and cheese. Classic. They also have bottled beer if you’re feeling burger and beers. It’s a little pricey but worth every penny.
The restaurant has a few tables for indoor seating, but they also do takeout and with Duryu park only a short walk away it makes a great pickup option for a park picnic. They also offer delivery if you happen to live nearby. We’ve had delivery from them many times when feeling too lazy to walk haha. If you haven’t been yet what are you waiting for?
